ABOUT
Rachel Watters, PA-C, MSPA, MPH, MHA, BS is a diversely educated, board-certified, passionate Physician Assistant. She prides herself in her ability to connect individually with each person and would love the opportunity to provide everyone the opportunity to get to the “finish line” of being a PA.
Rachel graduated from her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Health Sciences while gaining her clinical hours as a psychology/neurology technician for Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS). With her thirst for more knowledge in relation to her field, she furthered her education by obtaining a Masters in Public Health and Health Administration to view all perspectives of medicine in order to provide better access to care for her patients. She then graduated from Southern California University of Health Science Physician Assistant program with honors and awarded the Clinical Clerkship Award of her class for outstanding clinical skills in real life practice. Rachel has both training and special interest in management of mental health as well as integrative health, bridging both Eastern and Western medical practice by recommending the largest array of options for treatments of chronic conditions thereby improving access to care for her patients. She has experience in both family medicine and psychiatry.
Outside of her craft, Rachel loves spending time in the community of Vista with her husband and many pets as well as painting whenever she can muster the time.
Why choose us?
It all begins with the motivation to make a difference in a patient’s life.
The average acceptance rate for Physician Assistant (PA) programs in the United States is between 20% and 31%. This means that only about one-fifth to one-third of applicants are admitted each year.
The journey of becoming a PA has many barriers, but in my opinion, the greatest one is the application process. When I first applied to PA school, I gathered up years worth of knowledge to better my chances of acceptance, which I luckily saved for the off chance I would need it in the future.
Now that all those resources and knowledge are at my finger tips - it is time for you to benefit off of those efforts.
I bring a fresh fervor to the market by offering more affordable pricing and added ability to provide cognitive and behavioral support due to my background in psychiatry.
My philosophy? Work smarter not harder.

“In my 28 years of teaching resident doctors, PAs, and NPs, I can certainly say Rachel was among the top 3 PA students I have ever met. I would give her a job immediately and am impressed by her level of knowledge and commitment. She is very impressive, talented, and I trust her fully with patient care, with very minimal supervision.”
